Sound Healing Training | Sri Lanka

The craft of sound healing

Working with sound goes beyond playing instruments. It involves listening, sensitivity, structure and an understanding of how sound shapes an experience.

This training is designed to help you build that foundation, so you can work with greater clarity and create sessions that feel coherent, intentional and true to your own way.

One year continued education

Most of our students end up to be solid facilitators and sound practitioners, right after the training or following a period to mature the knowledge and connection with the instruments. To support this process, this training includes one year of support via online meetings, scheduled each three months, masterclasses and anytime direct messaging with the teachers during this period.

The complete curriculum is followed by a 40hours level 2 training, named Beyond Sound, that explores artistry, expression, advanced science, drumming, voice and wind instruments, also ASMR and somatics of sound. The 30 Hours level 3 training, named Post-Sound, is focused on research development, innovation using technology and digital interfaces and the leading of sessions beyond the conventional boundaries of the practice. The three trainings complete an unique 100 Hours Sound Healing curriculum.

Good to know

No. The training is designed to meet participants where they are. A background in yoga or music can accelerate your learning, but it is not a requirement. Our structured methodology, hands-on practice and guided feedback loops ensure every participant builds confidence and capability regardless of starting point.

You will be guided through singing bowls: Tibetan/Himalayan and Crystal bowls, with the support of chimes and gongs. You’ll learn both theory and hands-on techniques for facilitating sessions.

You’ll be able to guide private and group sessions with knowledge and confidence. We offer a direct individual support for one year, including an online meeting each 3 months to solidify and support your career development. Our program includes a 50 Hours level 2 training, that goes deeper in natural instruments, voice, creativity and ASMR.

Yes. At the end of the training, you’ll receive a certificate that is credited by Yoga Alliance and CMA-UK, along with personalized feedback to support your next steps in sound healing practice.

This training is intensive, immersive and experiential,  including live practice leading real sessions. It blends philosophy and traditions with modern scientific understanding of sound and vibration.

We would love to hear a little about you. We will be in touch through the contact details you provide. If the training is already full, we will let you know about waitlist possibilities and share alternative dates with you.

    Mauricio Leal

Mauricio (b.1983) still plays Brazilian bossa nova on guitar but sound healing completely changed his perception of music, adding to it the layers of vibration and resonance combined with the goal of balancing frequencies under different structures. His studies and practices on yoga and music merged to develop a harmonious, deep and unique way of sound healing, that expresses philosophy and yogic principles through sound to inspire transformation and self connection. Fully dedicated to guide sessions and trainings, he worked the last years on his most challenging project: ‘There is no Sound Healer’, a book that explains the history of sound giving birth to modern sound healing, to be released in 2026.
